With Sidney surfacing to be the upcoming hot-favorite destination for businessmen, Morris Lemma, Premier of New South Wales (NSW) has invited Indian firms to open up shops in Australia.
During the FICCI event, Mr Vikram Kapur, the Chairman of India-Australia Joint Business Council, informed that the two countries have the potential to double their trade in the coming three years. He also said that the two can cooperate in fields like IT, financial services, infrastructure, pharma, biotechnology, etc.
The NSW Premier, who leads a business and education mission to India said on the occasion, "Building a relationship with India is a top priority. India is Australia's fastest growing export market with NSW providing exports as diverse as coal, medical devices and education."
