Formal menswear seller Moss Bros Group Plc announces that Roddy Murray has resigned as Finance Director with immediate effect. He will remain an employee of the Company in an advisory capacity to help with the handover of responsibilities until the end of the year.
Keith Hamill, Chairman, said “I would like thank Roddy for his major contribution over the last three years in turning around the fortunes of the Company. We are disappointed that he is leaving at this point and wish him well for the future. An announcement regarding his successor will be made in due course”.
The Company is also giving an update on trading. When the Company issued its Interim Announcement it reported that like for like sales for the first ten weeks of the second half were up 1.5 percent.
In line with general experience in its market sector, trading in October was below previous trends and like for like sales for the first fifteen weeks of the second half are now flat against the previous year, with margins maintained.
