EU remained one of the top export destinations for Vietnam's ready-made garments.
However, overall garment exports in 2005 dropped by a significant 99 percent as compared to 2004.
Of all the categories denim jeans products registered a 359 percent rise over 2004 while Acrylic fibre clothes pegged 109.6 percent increase and wedding dress stood at 102.2 percent growth.
Fibre exports dropped by 89 percent, blazer exports by almost 60 percent and elastic clothes and towel items exports declined by 43.8 percent and 42.9 percent respectively.
