With less than two weeks to go before the 23rd IAF World Apparel Convention, final arrangements are being made to ensure the success of the convention.
This year, apparel specialists and apparel-related organizations will actively be taking part in discussions concerning the main theme: “Asia: Emerging Consumer Market from a Global Production Base”.
Hosted by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF), the convention will include prominent professionals from the apparel supply chain who will be invited to share their expertise.
Topics to be covered include production, management performance, the impact of high tech innovation and trends in trade and production. Attendees of the 23rd IAF World Apparel Convention include: • Chairmen, CEOs, Presidents, VPs, directors, entrepreneurs, executives, managers, experts and trade professionals from the apparel industry • Designers and brand managers • Suppliers of products and services supporting the fashion industry • Consulting firms • Academies specializing in the fashion industry • National Apparel Associations • Governmental Officials involved in planning for their apparel industries
During the IAF World Apparel Convention, TTF will be hosting the exclusive and unprecedented IAF International Designer Award on the evening of October 25th.
For the first time in IAF history, this event will take place as a Fashion Runway Show with, in the background, the National Palace Museum.
