Theme of 17th GGMA Fair plays very well

Every body congratulate the young and very newly appointed president of The Gujarat Garment Manufacturers Association (GGMA) Mr. Vijay Purohit for a thumbing success on conceiving and organizing such a successful event.

This event is a great platform for the fashion industry of Gujarat and the hard effort put in by the GGMA has brought the fashion Industry of Gujarat on the radar of India

The theme of 17th GGMA National Garment Fair 10' show during 10-12 July 2010 was Swarnim Gujarat and was played very well.

Its extremely commendable on the part of GGMA as it is the 1st association after CMAI to announce their event as National Garment Fair.

The GGMA National Garment Fair 2010 has seen large no. of sponsors this year. Mahavir Tags and Accessories Pvt Ltd was the main sponsor along with Ankur Exim, Sharmilee NX, and Gee Kay Fashion First as co-sponsors, Fashon show sponsor are Shree Radheshyam Group and Anjani Synthetics ltd.

The event was launched and within the first 7 days, all the stalls were bokked and 30 participants were on waiting list. Later, on the day of stall allotment, there was great enthusiasm seen in the participant and over 200 people attended the occasion. Many dignitaries were invited on this day and felicitated by the GGMA committee member.

On the day of the GGMA NGF 2010. The arrangement was super and very different and quite professional. The event was very well organized in a very professional manner.

There were ample counters and were adequately maintained to facilitate the incoming guests. Every visitor was provided with 2 passes and Gift bag and fair gude book.

The interior was very well done with a new concept. Large LCD screens were installed at the stage of the fashion show arena and other 2 large LCD screens were installed in the hall where all stalls were there.

Three great personalities bestowed the event with their presence. Mr. Saurabh Patel, Honorable Minister of State, Mr. Kaushik Patel, Vice President B J P Gujarat and Mr. Kanaji Thakor, Mayor-Ahmedabad.

Along with the dignitaries were all the sponsors and Mr. Desh Bandhu Gupta, Managing Director, Veepee Group who shared his mind with the delegates and visitors.Mr. Vijay Purohit personally welcomed all the dignitaries and the GGMA NGF was announced open.
During the 3 days of the event, more that 18000 visitiors were seen. This was 20% more than last year.

Eminent retailers from all over India visited the event. Mr. Mohammed Ali Al –Shoaibi, Lahdan Trading Est from Dubai, were among the important visitors and they were received and felicitated personally by the President Mr. Vijay Purohit.

Every day, lucky draws were conducted for the visitors and mobile phones, LCD and Lap-top were given to the winners as a token of appreciation.

The whole team of committee members was seen very busy managing the registration counters and attending to the guests. Well done team GGMA.
