Amazon India is setting up three more fulfillment centres in India, which will take the number in India from 24 to 27 by the end of this year. The addition of these three fulfillment centres which are located in 10 Indian states, would give the Indian subsidiary of the world's biggest online retailer, a storage capacity of around 7.5 million cubic feet.

However, Noor Patel, director category management, Amazon India while addressing a press conference, declined to reveal the locations for the proposed fulfillment centres.

According to Patel, India is the only country where Amazon is having its own delivery infrastructure and also is one of the largest investments Amazon has committed to India. (AR)
