Apparel Impact Institute (Aii), an organisation for driving scalable solutions for the apparel and footwear industry, has welcomed Devon Rothwell, vice-president revenue, Condé Nast, to its board of directors. With a nearly 30-year career in media, Rothwell brings an important industry perspective to Aii’s leadership.

“As an organisation, we are often behind the scenes, driving impact solutions without much awareness from the outside world,” said Lewis Perkins, Aii president. “Since we began building a stronger relationship with partners in the media, like Conde Nast, we have been able to drive awareness and increased support for our work. The addition of Rothwell to our board supports our strategy to bring leadership across the fashion industry into our work. It will enable us to expand our potential reach, thereby helping the apparel and footwear industry to achieve a 45 per cent reduction in carbon emissions and other critical targets by 2030.”

As vice president, revenue with Condé Nast, Rothwell will lead a team of strategic sales, marketing and brand directors who work with clients to identify marketing solutions and build partnerships. She joined Condé Nast in 1992 and has held numerous positions in marketing, advertising and business development at Vanity Fair, Vogue and Condé Nast Corporate in New York and San Francisco, Aii said in a press release.

“I'm beyond thrilled to be joining the Aii board to support and amplify the extraordinary work of the team and its partners,” said Rothwell.
