Future Group's fashion discount retail chain Brand Factory plans to open about 250 outlets in the next five years. The Kishore Biyani led retail chain had initially planned on opening around 100 stores by 2020, but seeing the response it received for its recent ‘50% Anything & Everything’ sale, has now targeted opening 250 stores by 2022.
This was informed by Suresh Sadhwani, CEO, Brand Factory to a leading daily, who also added that the immediate plan is to open 100 new outlets by 2020, by penetrating all the towns and cities in India.Future Group's fashion discount retail chain Brand Factory plans to open about 250 outlets in the next five years. Brand Factory which manages 55 stores in 22 cities currently retails about 200 brands out of which, 30 per cent are Future Group private label brands.
According to Sadhwani, the 50% Anything & Everything four day sale event, generated revenue of around Rs 90 crore, with half of the stores reporting more than Rs 50 lakhs in business in a single day. (AR)
