  • Canada's apparel imports increased by 28.34 per cent to $12.417 billion in 2022, with China remaining the largest supplier, accounting for over 30 per cent of the imports. The imports had decreased in 2020 but bounced back in 2021. The highest import levels were seen in 2022, and the imports were not affected by inflation or economic worries.
