The biggest US based full line omni-channel retailer, Dick's Sporting Goods said it has acquired San Deigo based sports management technology company Affinity Sports, which will now provide key services to various youth sports national governing bodies and large scale organisations under the Dick's Team Sports HQ platform, which was launched in January 2016.

According to Dick's, Affinity's specialised sports management software will both facilitate and simplify the registration, scheduling and communication processes between national or regional governing bodies and their associated leagues.

“League administrators will also be able to use the online tools through Dick's Team Sports HQ to design gear specific to their league, allowing coaches and parents to order uniforms and fanwear right from their league website,” the sporting goods retailer said.

The Dicks's Team Sports HQ provides an all-in-one platform, which offers youth sports leagues across the US, three key services which include; online registration and team or league websites; custom uniforms and fanwear; and access to donations and sponsorship's. (AR)
