Epic group and Elevate have entered into a strategic collaboration to build on the Epic group’s prominent position in ethical manufacturing, sustainability, and value creation for customers. Together, Epic and Elevate are building a world class social responsibility programme to lead the industry and to improve the lives of workers in the garment sector.

Since 1984, Epic has been at the forefront of the garment manufacturing industry, leading with engineering and operational speed, efficiency, technology, design and innovation to deliver high quality product to global brands and retailers. The group conducts its business with an uncompromising commitment to the social wellbeing of its employees.

Epic has called on Elevate, the leading supply chain responsibility and sustainability solutions provider, to realise its ambitions. Elevate is the only supply chain sustainability service provider with global reach and local expertise, which capitalises on an improvement operating model that is founded on exceptional proficiency in the sustainability of supply chains and unique insights from its data analytics.

“While being in the business of manufacturing apparel, we discovered that we could improve and touch lives across our versatile demographics. Our collaboration with Elevate is a testament to our being forward-thinking in becoming industry leaders in the area of social sustainability and, most importantly our creating a transparent, safe, and harmonious environment throughout our manufacturing space,” Epic’s founder, CEO, and chairman Ranjan Mahtani said.

“Elevate is excited to work closely with Epic to take Epic’s social responsibility programme and industry leadership to the next level. The Epic organisation demonstrates a mind-set that embraces supplier responsibility beyond audit and recognises its value to society,” Ian Spaulding, CEO of Elevate said.
