Ethnicwear brand Sabhyata to more than double store count

Sabhyata, an ethnicwear brand is planning to expand its footprint across India, by more than doubling its store count from the present 42 to 100 by end of 2017, and at the same time touch revenue of Rs 350 crore in the next 5-6 years. The brand which had clocked a turnover of Rs 75 crore in the earlier fiscal, expects it to touch Rs 100 crore in fiscal 2017.

"We have a target of achieving Rs 350 crore revenue in the next 5-6 years, while also expanding our store count to 100 by end of 2017 from the current 40,” a news agency quoted Sabhyata co-founder Anil Arora as saying.

Arora also added that they are also planning to increasing turnover from ecommerce sales and exports, while also opening stores in other countries.

Sabhyata will open a mix of company owned and franchised stores and will invest around Rs 10 crore in new store openings. (AR)
