Fashwire partners Google to optimise acquisition channels

Fashwire, a discovery and shopping marketplace, has partnered with Google to help optimise user acquisition channels. It has also launched its Fashion Discovery App. Fashwire provides a social platform for designers around the globe to come together in a mobile and web marketplace to present their current and future design concepts to the fashion consumer.

“We are excited for this partnership with Google,” said founder, Kimberly Carney. “As a data company, we are obsessed with analysing, measuring and tuning what we are doing. Google is providing us with such a fantastic opportunity to optimise our attribution efforts and more effectively target our advertising campaigns during these critical first weeks and months in the Play and Apple Stores.”

Fashwire’s mobile experience gamifies the feedback loop directly to designers. The deliverable to the industry is hard metrics of data-driven consumer preferences virtually in real time.

The Fashwire platform can intuitively search and discover designer collections and brands in one location with new designers and arrivals added weekly. Its Pinterest-style layout offers inspiration for new outfits, styles, and brands. A personalised shopping experience with its swipe functionality enables users to influence fashion while saving time and money.

The platform also allows discussing new products and offers style tips to other users. Moreover, Fashwire delivers real-time consumer opinion data with actionable insights and rewards customers for sharing their personal style inspirations.

Fashwire aims to initiate a defined user acquisition strategy and ultimately intends to derive revenues from the Fashwire app and web platform via subscription, direct purchases, affiliate fees, and advertising, said the company in a press release.

Based in Seattle, Washington, Fashwire discovery and shopping marketplace democratises the fashion industry by offering all fashion-conscious consumers, no matter their demographics or geographies, a direct link to designers and fashion worldwide. Fashwire also helps fashion designers with costly ordering decisions and improves on their full-price sell-through. (KD)
