The company had recently forayed into the Indian apparel retail market with the launch of its first store on October 2, 2015, in New Delhi.

“Following the tremendous response to the country opening, we are all set to introduce the second H&M store just-in-time for Diwali. Our aim is to grow successfully in this diverse market by offering fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way,” said Janne Einola, country manager, H&M Retail Pvt Ltd, India.

The new store will be located at Ambience mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, and will be spread over an area of more than 28000 sq ft. The three-floor space will offer latest trends, timeless classics and inspiration for women, men, teenagers and children.

H&M also plans to open its first store in Bengaluru next year. (MCJ)
