India-based PDS Multinational Fashion company has increased its focus towards agility and technological solutions due to COVID-19 disruptions and is developing 3D design, sampling and fit, 360 showroom, digital fit and colour and data analytics among other things, as per CEO Sanjay Jain. He expects these solutions to give an edge to the company.

“Given that ease of travel is severely restricted during these times and is expected to be limited in the near future, such (technological) solutions provide us an edge,” Jain told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.

He added that PDS has “created a network of virtual manufacturing partners who undertake manufacturing process on our behalf. This also enables us to operate across geographies without the need to invest in capacities for servicing any new region/category.”
