Joor, the largest wholesale platform and data exchange for fashion, beauty and home, is entering Germany, solidifying its dominance across Europe. Joor has added German brands to its wholesale marketplace, including S Oliver Group labels Comma and Liebeskind and other brands such as Dorothee Schumacher, Juvia, Komplott, lala Berlin, and Ulla Popken.

Germany’s apparel market value is the highest in Europe, and is expected to reach over $60B in 2022, according to Statista.

“Joor’s easy-to-use digital order-taking platform has completely transformed our sales process. We can also make faster and smarter decisions based on real-time data with Joor's visual reporting tools. We were really impressed to see that other brands that use Joor have increased their sales team's productivity by 50 per cent, and are excited to experience similar results with Joor,” says Angelika Oehler, lala Berlin.

The Joor marketplace connects more than 8,600 brands within 53 categories including watches, luggage, jewelry, apparel and accessories with 190,000 retail locations across 144 countries, including France, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. With Joor, brands and retailers can streamline wholesale buying and selling, saving time and money by digitising currently manual, error-prone processes and growing sales for both parties by enabling faster, more insightful decisions on what to sell to the end-consumer.

The company’s expansion into Germany has contributed to Joor’s exponential growth in Europe -- in the last year, the number of European brands on Joor increased by 50 percent. The company’s European team, headquartered in Paris with regional offices in London, Milan, Madrid and now Berlin, is also growing rapidly, more than doubling in size over the last 12 months. Joor has also recently expanded into Scandinavia, where the company entered into an exclusive partnership with Dansk Fashion & Textile earlier this year.

“After reviewing several other B2B wholesale solutions, we chose Joor because they are a strong and reliable partner and well-discussed in the fashion industry. With Joor, we can easily share our linesheets with customers 24/7, and can take orders much more efficiently. We also chose Joor for its outstanding level of customer service. We are confident that we have selected the right partner to take our wholesale business to the next level,” says Franca Roberta Madel, Liebeskind.

Joor’s growth in Europe reflects the wholesale industry’s search for technology solutions that drive efficiencies and sales growth. Unlike its competitors, JOOR’s solutions for both brands and retailers make the platform a one-stop shop for all wholesale business. In addition to the 190,000 retail locations in its marketplace, Joor has 25 exclusive partnerships with global retailers including, Harrods, Merci and Printemps. $23B has been transacted on the platform to-date.

With its exclusive global retailer partnerships, brands on Joor, including Burberry, Balenciaga, Loewe and Balmain, significantly benefit from more quickly and easily customising and sharing digital linesheets with top retailers, ensuring collections are seen first by retailers using Joor, seamlessly sending style data updates and cancellations in real-time, digitally taking all orders, including initial orders, pre-bookings and reorders, on a single platform, and receiving faster order confirmations from retailers.

“At Joor, our mission is to help the entire wholesale industry thrive by creating one innovative platform where all brands and retailers can easily exchange data to efficiently and profitably grow their wholesale businesses. Expanding into a leading fashion market like Germany is key to achieving this mission,” says Joor CEO Kristin Savilia. “Europe is home to some of the most powerful global fashion businesses, and we see the rapid pace of Joor’s adoption in Europe as a positive and beneficial trend for the entire wholesale industry.” (SV)
