Macy's Inc. appoints Richard Lennox as new CMO

Macy's, Inc., one of the nation's premier retailers has appointed Richard A. Lennox, an industry innovator with a track record of elevating consumer and retailing brands, as the new chief marketing officer, effective September 15, 2016.

In this role, Lennox will have responsibility for Macy's omnichannel market presence and strategy, including brand, promotional, store, digital, and events marketing activity. He will report to Macy's, Inc. president, Jeff Gennette, and join the company's executive committee.

Lennox holds a bachelor's degree from Reading University in Berkshire, England.
