R|Elan, the next-gen fabrics from Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), has partnered with Neva Garments, a value fashion retailer, to create and market apparels made from a range of R|Elan Kooltex and R|Elan FeelFresh performance fabrics. Neva will offer consumers best quality R|Elan fabric based solutions in activewear, athleisure, sportswear, sleepwear & innerwear.

Neva Garments and R|Elan jointly held a trade partner's meet and a fashion show to showcase the new SS'20 range of apparels at Grand Imperia Banquet, New Delhi. Around 350 retail partners who attended the meet, admired the upcoming range of high-performance apparels, including new-age functionality offerings from Neva, said RIL in a press release.

Neva Garment's success thrives on its strategy to provide the best value to its consumers. Neva believes in offering high quality apparels at the economical prices to its consumers. Neva's thrust on enhancing quality standards, adopting innovations and imparting functionality, makes it unique in the very competitive apparel industry.

"We are proud to be associated with R|Elan as it has opened up the whole new gamut of offerings in the functional and performance enhancement apparel segment. Neva, traditionally, has been a cotton dominated brand in all its segments. However, now our association with R|Elan provides us avenues to explore the new growth opportunities. We are well-known for Quilted Thermals and we have strong loyal customer base across India. Despite, only four years of our existence in activewear, we are witnessing a rapid growth in the segment, said Nirmal Kumar Jain, managing director, Neva Garments.

We are confident that our consumers will seize the opportunity to possess functional and performance enhancement apparels as we use R|Elan’s new generation fabrics with various functional properties like moisture management, wicking, odour-free antimicrobial etc. The products like R|Elan Kooltex, R|Elan Feelfresh, R|Elan Airtherm have a great potential to combine with cotton and also on a stand-alone basis it forms the great garments with aesthetics and functionality without major increase in costs.  We call them 'Smart Garments' and we see a tremendous potential for these products among our consumers.

We have already started leveraging the strong synergies between Neva and R|Elan and we are contemplating to extend this partnership in both domestic and international markets in varied applications like activewear, athleisure, sportswear, innerwear, sleepwear, socks etc. We expect our bond will grow stronger as we explore newer opportunities together."

"It gives us immense pleasure to partner with a dynamic and innovative brand like Neva that believes in providing the best quality apparel to consumers at very affordable prices. With RIL's technological edge to infuse new-age functionality and merging it with Neva's manufacturing and marketing prowess, we are certain to come up with stunning innovative fabrics to meet the growing demand for high-performance apparels," said Gunjan Sharma, CMO – Polyester Division, RIL.
