Apparelsourcing, a promising show!!!

The cost of production is one of the most competitive in Asia, all the more so as Bangladesh is a beneficiary of the Generalised Preferences Scheme (GPS), which allows developing countries unilateral preferential access, without taxation, to the community market.

Bangladeshi sourcing will be well represented at the February apparelsourcing show with collections for menswear, womenswear and children's wear: a diverse range of offers such as shirting, knits, sportswear and accessories.

Avant Garde Fashion chiefly produces sweaters in varied lines. Haptex Ltd has specialised in sportswear and also offers swimwear for men, women and children.
• Dresses and blouses
Mass Konfeksion Tekstil San have created a contemporary, high-end collection.
• Tailoring & Coat
Teori Tekstil Sanayi offers a comprehensive menswear collection, for mid-range and high-end, in lovely materials, both urban and elegant.
• Jeans
Grim S.P.A – Italy – jeans for the mid-range and high-end market, supplier to Rica Lewis among others.
• Accessories
R.K.Overseas – India – is presenting an interesting range in accessories, in particular gloves and scarves.
• S.K Signature – India – is showcasing their upmarket scarves, made of cashmere and silk.
• Tuhin Fashion – Bangladesh – has a small line of accessories to complement their major lines in menswear, womenswear and children's wear.
