Nantong Teijin collaborates with workwear sector

China Professional Wear Industry Association President - Wang Yao Min led a delegation of six association members on a research visit to Nantong Teijin Co., Ltd.

Nantong Teijin is one of the subsidiary companies of Japan's giant chemical fiber producer - Teijin Ltd. and was established in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone in 1993.

Nantong Teijin uses Teijin's unique polyester fiber technology in production. Its main products are sportswear raw materials and advanced clothing materials.

In recent years, Teijin has given due importance to fabric development of professional wear and has strengthened cooperation with China's workwear industry associations.

They have developed a wide range of application prospects for shirt fabrics to be used in professional wear with moisture absorption function and quick drying function, which also has a low carbon footprint.

The research visit of the delegation is expected to increase cooperation between the two and lead to bilateral cooperation in more areas of fabric development.
