Biglife Ritu Wears plans north Indian expansion

Biglife Ritu Wears, one of the leading family store chains in North and Central India, is wishing to increase its presence in the country.

The retail chain which began its journey with a mere 200 sq. ft. area, has today successfully carved a niche for its products.

Currently, the group has 12 stores sprawled across 5,000-40,000 sq ft each, in Delhi & NCR, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh and is rapidly expanding throughout North India.

Biglife, the brand of JDS United, deals in exclusively merchandised products including apparels and accessories for men, women and children, and home textiles. Through its 'Fashion, Family, Fun' campaign, the company targets the entire family.

Speaking to fibre2fashion, Mr. Anupam Deb, Asst. Manager Marketing - JDS United, said, “We are present in Delhi, NCR and North India. We have more than 100 brands under our roof that includes several brands that any other large format store in the country would have.”

Informing about the brand's expansion plans, he mentions, “We are soon going to open a Biglife store in Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. We would then extend our presence in north India by opening outlets in cities like Agra, Jaipur and some more north Indian cities where there is considerable presence of MBOs (Multi Brand Outlets).”
