German sewing equipment firm unveils expertise centres

24
Jan '12
Groz-Beckert, the Germany-based system supplier of precision components for garment manufacturing, has set a new benchmark in customer service by establishing Sewing Expertise Centres in India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and at its headquarters in Albstadt.

The Expertise Centres will provide quick solutions to application problems and will offer extensive knowledge in all areas of the sewing industry.

Experts at the Centres will develop solutions to specific problems and provide support in accordance with globally uniform standards for correct needle selection, process optimization, quality assurance, fault analysis, employee training and alternative joining processes.

In order to meet specific customer needs, Groz-Beckert will be offering three service packages through these centres – basic, extended and customer-specific. Each of these packages will have different analysis and evaluation details.

The expertise centres will be connected with the technology and development centre of Groz-Beckert in Albstadt.

The centres are expected to be of great help to manufacturers who sometimes struggle with problems related to sophisticated equipment.
