Launch coincides with the opening of the 'Shwop Lab' in collaboration with London College of Fashion's Centre For Sustainable Fashion. The pop-up space, open untill 9th May at the Old Truman Brewery, will explore the future of fashion through a series of collaborations with the UK's leading lights in sustainable fashion and design.
In stores, M&S customers will be invited to leave their old or unwanted clothes in specially designed 'Shwop Drops' (cardboard recycling boxes). There will be over 1,200 Shwop Drops across the UK (at least two per store) alongside till points.
Plan A is Marks & Spencer's eco and ethical programme that aims to make M&S the world's most sustainable major retailer by 2015.
