Zensah is known world-wide as an innovator within the running community, having developed the world's first and bestselling seamless compression leg sleeves. Through extensive testing and research, Zensah has created new running socks designed to complement their compression leg sleeves.
The socks will be available for sale at the Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon during the Health and Fitness Expo from May 4th – May 5th.
Runners know the importance of running with a quality sock. Using the wrong sock may cause blistering and discomfort, distracting the runner from training and impairing overall performance. Other socks may provide extra cushioning to help with blistering, but then cause feet to feel hot and heavy as the fabric becomes trapped with perspiration and the foot is not able to properly breathe. Through working with numerous athletes and other industry experts, Zensah has developed a running sock that delivers superior breathability, while giving runners additional cushioning.
Zensah Running Socks are moisture wicking and anti-microbial, providing extra cushion in heel and toe region for shock absorption and blister protection. The socks feature a compression band around the arch of the foot for increased support and enhanced circulation. A unique top mesh air vent system delivers ultra-breathability.
Ryan Oliver, Director of Marketing at Zensah, says, “The inspiration for our new running socks was simple - our customers. We wanted to deliver a high performance sock that met the unique needs of runners and delivered the superior quality associated with the Zensah brand.
“Our socks were designed to fit perfectly with our bestselling leg sleeves. As a company, we have been taking care of runners' calves for years, now it's time to take care of their feet. We are very excited to be officially launching the new running socks at Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon.”
Zensah, based in Miami, is the originator of seamless compression technology used by runners, triathletes, cyclists, and other outdoor sports.
