Woodman Holdings acquires apparel producer R3 Sport

WHAM Inc, Woodman Holdings, announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Nevada based R3 Sport LLC for $2.5 USD million in WHAM Inc. stock, effective May 15th, 2012.

We are thrilled to add R3 Sport LLC to our growing family of companies and we have great expectations for its future,” said Israel Vasquez, President and COO of WHAM Inc. As part of the transaction, all existing relationships are expected to continue in the future.

“The current management team at R3 Sport LLC, led by Sid Saldanha, has done a commendable job of developing this company, and we look forward to working with his team to carry our combined business to the next level”, said Abigail Peurifoy, CEO and Chairwoman. Mr. Saldanha and his team have in excess of 25 years experience and expertise with various apparel groups.

As part of the transition Sid Saldanha, will become Vice President of Merchandising/Sales and Simone Adams Mathis will become Assistant Vice President if Design & Marketing of WHAM Inc.

WHAM Inc is a diversified holdings company established for the purpose of investing in or acquiring businesses and distressed asset classes.

R3 Sports LLC is a Nevada based designer, manufacturer and distributor of corporate apparel. R3 Sport specialize in designing, producing and servicing brand labels, import companies and retailers both in the US, Canada and Europe.
