DLF Brands unveils first multi-brand outlet AVE.NEU

DLF Brands Limited, a division of the realty major DLF, has opened its first multi-brand retail store AVE.NEU at a mall in New Delhi.
The 15,000 sq. ft. outlet will stock products of global apparel brands including DKNY and Mothercare.
DLF Brands currently operates stand-alone outlets for 11 international brands. It now plans to open 10 AVE.NEU stores in India this year and take the tally to 50 stores over the next three years.
The company will invest Rs. 500 million to open AVE.NEU stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Pune, Surat, Lucknow and other Indian cities during the next one year.
In 2008, DLF had entered into luxury brands business and had focused on premium luxury fashion brands. However, recently the company changed its strategy and decided to exit the category. It has also ended its partnership with luxury apparel brand Armani.
