Lindex unveils fresh & sporty touch plus size line

"When we plan our collections, it is very much about the joy of fashion. The fashion-conscious woman wants to be inspired by the season's new trends regardless of her dress size," says Jenny Andsberg, designer of the Lindex Generous collection.

Key items for Generous throughout the spring- and summer season include the obvious jeans in various washes and models, along with other five pocket trousers and the season's fashion basics.

The start of the season shows a fresh and casual look with sporty touches. The colours include various blues, along with red and green as well as beige seasoned with a splash of neon colours. Leo- and dip-dye prints dominate. The style is set by a contrast between the rough and tough and the more romantic.

A distinctive street style inspiration is evident in the collection later this spring. We are seeing an easy to wear and cool look with key garments such as camo-patterned trousers, jeans and military inspired jackets teamed with lace tops and tunics with tropical patterns. The palette is dominated by shades of green and light neutrals such as light beige, off-white and light grey.

The Big Blue summarises the inspiration for the summer collection. We will be seeing lots of blue on the colour chart, especially shades reminiscent of water, both the great oceans and turquoise swimming pools. All these blue tones are mixed with white, black, cerise and raspberry red. The range of patterns includes different types of tie-dyes and fresh stripes.
