alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet will collaborate with leading UK hosiery brand, Pretty Polly, on a line of hosiery debuting during New York Fashion Week in February 2013. The alice + olivia for Pretty Polly collection will feature modern, yet playful pieces all of which reflect the personality of both brands.

Stacey Bendet, alice + olivia CEO and Creative Director comments, "I love legwear. I feel like it's such an important component to how we style and wear our clothes - it's sexy, girly and fun. Pretty Polly creates beautiful, fun, energetic legwear and we are excited to partner with them! Our Career collection is perfectly complimented by the not-so-basic "Basics" collection, lending itself to layering with mini-skirts and every day dresses. The "Sheers" group is perfect for party dressing, which we of course love. The "Print" collection is the stand out piece in any outfit, and the "Novelty" collection is for the quintessential alice + olivia girl that is quirky, feminine and sexy!”

"Hosiery is a natural extension of the alice + olivia lifestyle offering. It is our intention to have an ongoing presence for alice + olivia in the hosiery market and feel that it could represent over $25 million retail within its first three years," says alice + olivia President, Deanna Berkeley. This collaboration with Pretty Polly is the first step to a larger strategic initiative of the brand's development in the hosiery category.

After entering the U.S. market only two years ago, Pretty Polly has established a strong presence through a network of major global retailers. The alice + olivia for Pretty Polly partnership will increase recognition of both brands and create an even stronger presence worldwide. "Our hosiery expertise and experience make Pretty Polly the perfect match for the fashion forward alice + olivia. This collaboration is bound to surprise and delight a whole generation of new customers," says Jonny Mitchell, Managing Director-Legwear of Courtaulds Brands Ltd, Pretty Polly's parent company.

alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet

Launched in 2002, alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet is a sophisticated brand with a playful sensibility, which epitomizes the personality and style of its founder, Stacey Bendet. The brand was born from Stacey's personal quest to create a flattering pair of pants, and has since grown into a full women's wear collection, including outerwear, dresses, and the perfect pants that started it all. Stacey has also expanded into different categories with a Base Collection for ultimate layering pieces to the Career Collection for a more modern working woman.

In 2011, the alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet shoe line was launched and includes a wide variety of high-fashion yet affordable styles from leather knee-high boots to sparkly Mary Janes. Now a full lifestyle collection, the brand has become a Hollywood favorite with fans including Gwyneth Paltrow, Fergie, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively, and Taylor Swift.
