Net income increased in 2005 to $317 million, or 6.5 percent of net sales, from $314 million in 2004, or 6.8 percent of net sales. Diluted EPS increased 3.2 percent to $2.94 in 2005, up from $2.85 in 2004.
For fiscal 2006, we are projecting net sales to increase low single digits compared to fiscal 2005, an operating margin in the range of 9.2 - 9.6 percent and EPS in the range of $2.58 - $2.73.
