Splash launches F/W collection for men & women

The Splash wardrobe injects effortless style into the male wardrobe where everything related to being a gentleman is celebrated. With a prevailing sense of nostalgia, the new and contemporary style in menswear has an air of bygone eras.

Classics make a strong comeback with Cambridge intellectuals of early 20th century style of dressing a key inspiration. Turtleneck sweaters, chunky wool knits, heritage checks blazer and shirts with brushed surfaces all combine to create this dressed up outdoor look that sums up the ‘Town & Country’ trend.

The suit, in combed wool or flannel, has a more modern slim-fit look and can be coordinated with an assortment of accessories: shirts, ties, and pocket squares therefore playing a fundamental role in a modern man’s wardrobe.

‘Winter Dandy’ is a trend that highlights wearing the season’s key pieces like velour jackets, salt & pepper marled yarn sweaters and tux styling blazers with an eccentric Dandyish attitude that merges vintage with a contemporary edge. Military references return with a more luxurious aspect, finding beauty in symbolic decoration while darker hues come together to form a fine blend of evening looks.

Sports inspired fashion has become a huge trend for men where elements from varied sports are picked and carefully altered to suit the urban city lifestyle. Translating the ‘Bespoke Sport’ trend, the elements of style lies in the fabric and the cut that are reinterpreted for a casual active take.

Dark tones of ink, chocolate, burgundy and pine green are mixed with a grey palette to offer key pieces like quilted blazers, down vests and jackets which are mixed to create a variety of looks. Yet another variation of the sports trend ‘Varsity’ is a carryover of preppy influences that aptly capture the feeling of 90’s street wear & creates a link between street sports from urban city and great outdoors.
