For those searching for the latest trend inspirations, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition is the leading place to find indications for the Spring / Summer 2015 season. Buyers can explore ideas in the Intertextile Directions Trend Forum in halls 1 & 2, which have been developed by the designer and Intertextile Directions Trend Committee member Ornella Bignami, from Elementi Moda, Paris.

Four distinctive themes to highlight new trend ideas The Intertextile Directions Trend Committee is comprised of industry experts from New York, Milan, Paris and Tokyo.

They have developed four themes to illustrate the Spring / Summer 2015 trends that are on display in the Intertextile Directions Trend Forum. These themes are brought to life by exhibitors’ fabrics to help explain the colour, material and print styles. The four themes are:

Breathe
A silent meditation mixes with the natural indulgences of the elements. Calming courtyards and luxurious riads form a quiet sanctuary. Modesty is found in sandy dunes and bare deserts.

Play
Time moves at an easygoing pace. A summer solstice filled with saccharine sunshine leads to a carefree existence. Poolside indulgences evoke the spirit of modernity.

Dance
Harness the flamboyant rhythm of the exotic. Enchanting arts and crafts lend a globetrotting spirit. An eclectic energy culminates in a festival for the bizarre.
