MOT allows 27 textile Cos to export to US

Vietnam Ministry of Trade (MOT) has announced issuing of auto-visa quota for categories No. 342/641 (cotton – synthetic fibre knitted shirt for women) for export to the US.
An official MOT letter No. 0156/ TM-DV permits 27 companies which have license to export these goods to export via auto-visa quota.
However, the letter states the date of expiry for this is due by April 30, 2006.
The enterprises that do not use up their quota under guaranteed quota performance during March would have to continue exports till end of 2006.
