Queensboro Shirt rolls out Eco-Fiber bamboo polo shirts

May '06
Leading high-quality, custom embroidered apparel maker The Queensboro Shirt Co has announced the addition of eco-fiber bamboo polos to its line of unconditionally guaranteed, low 4-piece minimum order, custom logowear.

More environmentally friendly to grow than cotton, the silky bamboo fiber is naturally odor resistant, hypoallergenic and is cooler, more absorbent and faster-drying than cotton. These features make bamboo the ideal warm-weather polo shirt fabric choice for companies and organizations, teams and individuals seeking attractive, comfortable, custom-embroidered logowear for trade shows, golf, tennis and other active sports, family outings and more.

Queensboro's eco-fiber bamboo polo shirt (Style 1116) features a three-button placket and hemmed sleeves. Eco-fiber bamboo polos cost $34.95, come in sizes M-2XL, and can be ordered in a variety of colors, including black, natural, pale yellow, bimini blue, and seagrass. As with all Queensboro custom logo apparel and accessories, there are no additional charges for the setup and application of most standard-size logos.

Queensboro Founder and Chairman, Fred Meyers, said, "Bamboo fiber just may be the future of the shirt business and The Queensboro Shirt Company is pleased to introduce these outstanding bamboo fiber shirts for our customers to display their logos in style and comfort. Most commercial cotton growers use all kinds of pesticides and fertilizers, which are very harsh on the soil.”
