Vietnamese enterprises exported bags, backpacks, wallets, suitcases, gloves and hats worth $12.68 million during first ten days of May 2006, achieving an increase of more than 30 percent, compared to the same period in 2005, industrial sources reported.
January to mid-May period this year, total revenue earned through exports of these goods reached $171.54 million, climbing nearly 7 percent higher compared to same period, last year.
Major importing countries for these goods are Japan, Canada, Sweden, including other countries which may return high growth figures for Vietnam in coming times, is the view held by industry experts.
