Jumper exports revenue grows at staggering 44.7%

Vietnamese Ministry of Trade statistics reported that jumper exports turnover in the first four months of 2006 earned US $10.33 million through sale of 2.07 million suits, representing a year-on-year rise of 44.7 percent and 20 percent, respectively.
EU currently, is a leading importer of these goods, accounting for 49 percent of the total exports of Vietnam.
Among the EU's markets, export growths to Germany, France and England recorded significant rise.
Besides, Japan stands second as the largest importer, although the Asian country saw slight drop in comparison with same period 2005.
Japan imported 285,000 suits, worth $1.7 million in January-April period, this year.
