To be long-term partners, these manufacturers must be equipped with acceptable facilities, show flexibility in small-quantity production, and must be able to respond quickly to the market's needs. They also must be innovative in product development. Stability of financial status and degree of digitalization are also considered as Jockey searches for global partners.

Beal conveyed his appreciation for assistance from TITAS. He said the visit has changed his point of view on Taiwan. If he did not visit Taiwan last year, he would not have been able to collaborate with potential manufacturers here.

Taiwan Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS) will be held on Oct. 3-5, 2006. Continuing from the themes of last year, "F4: from Fibers to Fabrics for Fashion plus Functions" TITAS 2006 showcases the practicality and innovativeness of Taiwan's textile industry.

The show will attract major global buyers to visit, including Brad Beal himself, who will be searching for new materials for Jockey.

Beal is in charge of Jockey's manufacturing and operations. He has over 40 years of experience in the textile industry, and is known for production management and innovation.
