Columbia Sportswear to announce Q2 results on July 27

Sportswear maker Columbia Sportswear Company will release second quarter 2006 financial results on Thursday, July 27, 2006 after the market closes.

The company's senior management will host a telephone conference call at 5:00 p.m. ET that same day, Thursday, July 27, 2006. The call will review Columbia's second quarter financial results and geographic and merchandise category performance, and provide guidance for future periods.

The webcast will be archived on the company's website until Thursday, August 10, 2006.

Founded in 1938 in Portland, Oregon, Columbia Sportswear Company is a global leader in the design, sourcing, marketing and distribution of active outdoor apparel and footwear. As one of the largest outerwear manufacturers in the world and a leading seller of skiwear in the US, it has developed an international reputation for quality, performance, functionality and value.

The company manages a portfolio of outdoor brands including Columbia Sportswear, Mountain Hardwear, Sorel, Montrail and Pacific Trail.
