Nanothechnology has emerged as the part and parcle of our lives since past several years, may it be cosmetics, clothing or textile materials.

However, reserchers are studying the nanometer materials that come in direct contact with our body, trying to determine its effects on biology.

Experts believe that some nanometer materials, like underwear, would come in contact with the vulnerable body-parts and might easily gain access to our cells.

Studies prove that nanometer material, carbon 60, has adverse effects on a fish's brain.

In the East Secience Forum on biology safety evaluation of nanometer materials, the experts announced that Shanghai has set up a centre to study poisonous character of nanometer, which would also establish safety evaluation system.
