Rebel Sport sales revenue gains from Glue lifestyle stores

Rebel Sport Limited's group statutory sales revenue for the three months ended 30 September 2006 increased by 17.4 percent to $91.3 million when compared to the three months ended 1 October 2005, including sales revenue from the Glue lifestyle stores. Sales on a same store basis increased by 12.3 percent.
Sales performance in Rebel Sport stores for the quarter was pleasing, continuing the strong sales growth achieved during the 2006 financial year.
No new stores were opened during the quarter ended 30 September 2006. In the quarter to December 2006, Rebel Sport will open a further two stores in Macquarie Shopping Centre and Wagga Wagga (New South Wales). Rebel Sport Limited currently has 61 Rebel Sport stores and 10 Glue stores.
