Germany based the agency 'fashion lights', organizers of the EuroFashion Week Berlin, cancels the international designers exhibition (22. to 24. July).
A group of Asian designers (Japan, China, Malaysia), that wanted to take part at the international designers exhibition 'Power of Design' cancelled their participation short-termed.
The international designers-exhibition will be postponed to January/February 2006.
Due to this cancellation we won't be able to guarantee the function of the EuroFashion Week Berlin as Forum for contacts, trends and information for visitors and media.
The cancellation does not mean that 'it is over'. We will be back in January / February 2006 during the Berlin fashion days” explains Hans Jung, Manager of the agency.
Designers from Brasil, Germany, Malta, Latvia, Russia, Switzerland, Venezuela and Vietnam had applied for the EuroFAshion Week Berlin in July.
The Press Conference on the 14 July will also be cancelled.
EuroFashion Week 2 focuses even more on the bringing together of young and established designers from across the world.
