Dressmaker's daughter, Ielra Viter, along with her mother and sister established a small bikini factory in Cabo Frio investing about US $700.

Now after 12 years, Ielra's store and textile unit have evolved as a successful business.

She has been awarded the 2006 Retail Label Honourable Mention, last week by the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2000, she almost went out of the business. After that her sister gave up the society and Ielra went on a search for knowledge. Joining Cabo Frio Beachwear Hub, she has been participating in all editions of Fashion Rio/Fashion Business, which has helped her to sell creations.

With the help of some Italian students, she obtained license to enter international market, too. Now, her factory exports about 35 percent of its production to United States, Portugal, Greece and Italy.

The company which employs 20 people is all set to open its third store even as it faces rising competition in global markets.

As her company's website has been listed on Google search engine, has provided that added fillip to company exports earnings via e-commerce.
