Seamless garment industry on the increase in Yiwu city

Business is abnormally busy in the seamless underwear professional street of Yiwu City in Zhejiang province.

The domestic business is booming as well as foreign trade orders are endless for the seamless underwear made by local enterprises like Zhejiang Wendi Knitted Garment Company. Its Feeling Bird brand is sold far to the Europe, America, Japan, Korea, Hongkong and enjoys a high prestige in these ares.

The Yiwu City has more than 150 enterprises of seamless knitting and garment industry, employing nearly 20,000 people.

Around 25,000 pieces of various production equipments including more than 3,000 pieces of electronic jacquard equipment with advanced international technology are in use here.

Local seamless underwear's output accounts for 80 percent of the country's total output and 15 percent of the world.

At present, Yiwu City is accelerating its pace to expand seamless underwear industry and trying to extend their chain into seamless sports clothes, leisure clothes and suit.
