Paxar postpones Annual Shareholders Meeting

03
Apr '07
Paxar Corporation announced that it has postponed the date of its Annual Meeting of Shareholders, previously set for May 3, 2007, so that the recently announced acquisition of Paxar by Avery Dennison Corporation in exchange for $30.50 in cash for each share of Paxar stock can also be considered at the meeting. The postponed meeting is expected to be held in June or July.

Paxar Corporation is a global leader in providing innovative merchandising systems for the retail and apparel industry.

At Paxar we design and manufacture tickets, tags and labels, and we provide the technology—including the printers, software control systems and necessary supplies—for retail product identification. Our customers include the world's major retailers, branded apparel companies and contract manufacturers.

Paxar focus is on working with our customers and adding value for them in everything we do: we help build their brands, manage their data and distribute their merchandise throughout the supply chain.
