Bon-Ton Stores to expand Rock Springs, Wyoming Store

The Bon-Ton Stores Inc announced the expansion of its Herberger's Rock Springs, Wyoming store. The store will be expanded from 37,000 square feet to 60,000 square feet, allowing for new businesses and expanded merchandise selection. Construction of the 23,000 square foot expansion will be completed mid-November 2007. The main store will undergo remodeling which is expected to begin in July 2007, to be completed in mid-November 2007.
Bud Bergren, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “We look forward to offering our customers in the Rock Springs area a greater selection of merchandise from our expanded store and the opportunities the expansion will afford us. The additional space and remodel will allow us to increase the productivity of the store and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.”
The Bon-Ton Stores Inc operates 277 stores, which includes eight furniture galleries, in 23 states in the Northeast, Midwest and upper Great Plains under the Bon-Ton, Bergner's, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's and Younkers nameplates and under the Parisian nameplate, two stores in the Detroit, Michigan area.
