DHB announces $52.7mn deal with Point Blank Body Armor

DHB Industries Inc, a leader in the field of protective body armor, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Point Blank Body Armor was awarded a $52.725 million contract to produce the Improved Outer Tactical Vests (“IOTV”) for the U.S. Army. The Company will produce 75,000 vests, beginning in June 2007 and ending in March 2008.
