O'Quinn Clothing announces new addition to its sales force

O'Quinn Clothing announced the addition of Los Angeles-based showroom Derelicte to its sales machine. Spearheaded by sales guru and industry veteran Jason Bates, Derelicte has been a driving force behind many of the hottest contemporary men's clothing lines in the market.

O'Quinn, purveyors of fine and functional men's apparel, hopes to tap into that success. "We see this partnership as an integral step for the growth of our line," says O'Quinn president and co-founder, Dean Quinn.

Dale Rhodes, O'Quinn's other founder and its VP of sales, sees the benefits as well. "Our desire as a company is to focus on the quality of our accounts rather than the quantity," says Rhodes.

"We couldn't be happier about working with an outfit like Derelicte. In Jason and his crew, we see an understanding of our philosophy, a passion for our product, and a proven track record of elevating burgeoning brands to the next level, in terms of sales and exposure."

"The benefits of Jason's relationships with everyone from A-list boutiques to specialty shops, as well as his understanding of all aspects of the sales and growth process, will be immense."

Bates sees the potential advantages as well, "I am very excited to be working with the boys from O'Quinn. This brand represents a great opportunity for me, and, more importantly, for my retailers. We have a beautiful blend of cashmere, cable-knits, denim, and graphics that are on point with trend."

Retailers are indeed realizing the benefits of the brand. Karen Meena from Fred Segal was one of the first to bring the line in house, "O'Quinn Spring/Summer sold as soon as it hit the shelves. I expect the Fall/Holiday delivery to be an even bigger success on our sales floor. It has everything that our customer wants - comfort, style, and fresh design."
