Lifestyle gears up to expand existence

Leading chain of multi-brand stores owned $500-million retail major Landmark, Lifestyle is setting up to introduce “Max”, its value fashion retail chain in India.

Lifestyle shifted its operations from Chennai to Bangalore, and now gearing up to add 18 more outlets by 2007-08, currently it operates seven outlets.

After completion of expansion plan, the company is anticipating its turnover to reach Rs 1,000 crore from Rs 300 crore.

The company opened its first outlet in Chennai, has only one outlet in Bangalore.

However, it intends to come out in city with five stores within two to three years, through a mix of different models and within malls, informed sources.

The company's well-known brand “Max” reveals the latest fashion trends, offering a quality retail brand at affordable prices, for the age group of 17 to 35 years.
