Traci Young joins clothing marketer Hartmarx as VP Communications

Men's tailored clothing marketer Hartmarx announced the appointment of Traci Young as Vice President of Communications.
Her primary responsibility will be coordinating strategic public relations initiatives and communications for the Hart Schaffner Marx brand while also managing business, trade and consumer press relations for the parent company Hartmarx. In the latter role, Ms. Young assumes some of the responsibilities of Ms. Erin Gaffney who has left the company.
"This is a time of exciting change for the company and particularly for the Hart Schaffner Marx brand," said Homi Patel, chairman and CEO of Hartmarx Corp. "Last week they announced the appointment of Eric Jones, former senior director and national sales manager of Ralph Lauren Purple Label, as Executive Vice President/General Manager of HSM. Today, they are very pleased to announce that Traci, an experienced, knowledgeable professional in marketing and communications is joining Eric's team."
Ms. Young comes to the Company after serving nine years as the vice president of marketing and creative services at Joseph Abboud Apparel Corp. Most recently, she has acted as a consultant to Threadwize, a group of leading independent men's and women's retail stores.
