Lululemon opens its doors in The Shops at Highland Village

Get your healthy back with lululemon athletica. The Vancouver-based retailer is opening a new 3,500 sq. foot space that gives Highland Village yogis, runners, dancers and health enthusiasts a place to get decked out in the most stylish athletic clothing without sacrificing comfort or function.
Located at 4071 Deer Creek no 120 in Highland Village, the Grand Opening weekend is September 28-30th. Kick off” to the weekend starts with the Marcus High School Marquettes at 10am on Friday morning.
Additional festivities includes an Acro-Yoga demonstration as well as complimentary in-store yoga and fitness classes led by our local ambassadors on Friday at 6pm, Saturday at 9am and Sunday at 2pm.
“The health and fitness community is growing in Highland Village with runners, dancers and yogis,” says lululemon Community Coordinator, Joanna Waller, “We want to help bring the health community together with community classes and events and by offering technical clothing that performs on the running trail or in the gym but then looks great while you're relaxing afterwards in the square.”
lululemon athletica sets the bar in technical fabrics and functional designs for men and women, working closely with local athletes and yogis to maintain the highest quality of fitness apparel.
Founded in 1998 in response to the exponential increase of female participation in sports, lululemon believes that practicing yoga promotes athletic excellence, health and longevity. The company currently has 64 locations across Canada, the US, Australia and Japan and is reaching out to new communities across the globe.
The store hours are Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon – 6 p.m. lululemon will offer a weekly Saturday morning yoga class that is complimentary to the community. The class will be held from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and will be taught by local instructors.
