Dona Bertarelli launches sportswear range with Ladycat

Dona Bertarelli Spath launched a complete range of sports and leisurewear with the Ladycat design. Ladycat is a Decision 35 catamaran helmed by Karine Fauconnier, the French sailing champion.

The range of 21 articles of clothing and accessories are designed for men, women and children. A percentage of all sales will be donated to the World Heart Federation's Go Red for Women international campaign to prevent cardiovascular disease in women.

"We have seen great enthusiasm for the Ladycat concept. We hope that our supporters will enjoy the line of clothing and accessories, which were created in response to a real need for both flattering and informal chic sportswear for women." stated Dona Bertarelli Spaeth.

The collection is easy to wear in all situations – in town and for leisure activities. And in order to be fully equipped whether in town or at the beach, the Ladycat line includes beach towel, lanyard and trendy backpack.

A limited series of Ladycat teamwear will also be available in a few sizes only. These clothes are replicas of the sportswear that the Ladycat sailors and the coaches use, and are therefore perfect to wear for sailing.

The Ladycat range is available on the web site and will soon be available at the Country Club of Geneva, in Bellevue (Switzerland). For the end of year festivities, a limited series of hand crafted Ladycat pendants will also be available.

The main sponsors of Ladycat are Audemars Piguet, a renowned watchmaker that already sponsors other famous yachts, and the Grand Hôtel Park in Gstaad. Ladycat supports the World Heart Federation's campaign, Go Red for Women, to raise awareness of and prevent heart disease and stroke in women.
